Today was just one of those days when I found myself overwhelmed with a familiar longing…for some good ‘ole Ben & Jerry’s ice cream! Today was a very full day with all sorts of exciting things: I had a mini photo shoot for a local church, then a family portrait session after church, and then a wedding consultation with a super sweet couple this evening. So fun! After the wedding clients left, I told my roommate Samantha that I was heading to the store to satisfy this intensifying hunger. She came with me to get some as well. (As a side note, I saw my 6th grade teacher there, and I haven’t seen him in many, many years! It’s crazy how much a person’s appearance can change in that many years!) We got home and dug into our ice cream…and, well, I guess perhaps I was a little too ambitious because I dug my spoon into the container and before I knew what happened, I was standing there holding the handle of my spoon, the end of it was flying through the air and my container of ice cream was upside down on the floor! AH! One of those moments when I wish I could re-wind and watched the replay as I’m sure I looked pretty hilarious! Sam and I got a good laugh out of it, and the ice cream was AH-mazing! =)
We’ll be minus a spoon, but at least my craving is satisfied!
