Things look a little bit different around here, huh?!
Today is the exciting day I get to launch the new look and branding of Allison Marie Photography! A few months back, I began to be quite tired of my website. It was nice, but simply not as professional and full-of-life-and-personality as I would like it to have…which makes sense since I designed it myself and I am NOT at all a designer!!
I discovered Tiffany Kelley through showit, as they featured her newly designed website. I noticed that she is also a freelance designer, so I contacted her right away. Once I started dreaming about my new website, I took a good, long look at my logo and decided it just isn’t doing it for me. It doesn’t inspire me, and I feel it doesn’t reflect my brand as I’d like it to. So, the fabulous Tiffany ended up designing for me a new logo, website AND blog! She did an absolutely outstanding job, and I could not be more happy with the way it all came together!
The past few years have been so exciting to see my business and brand morph into what it is today. It took me much exploring to discover who I am as a photographer, what styles reflect my personality best, and what types of clients are ideal for me. I believe branding is crucial to the success of a business, so I knew I needed some help. To give you a look back to the past, this was my original, homemade logo when my business began in 2009:

One thing I had mentioned was that my own wedding was a perfect description of my style, and the “feel” I wanted for my new look. Burlap, cotton, lace…organic, rustic textures! I LOVE how Tiffany incorporated the cotton theme into the design of my logo, and the textures into my new blog and website!
And for my website…hop on over to www.allisonmariephotography.com and check it out!

Once I got my logo finalized, and my website was underway, I was inspired to create my new DVD packaging to match. I just adore the end result!

I had Sarah at Permanent Collection print my lovely new letterpress business cards. Sarah is a wonderful person, and is also a very talented designer! She is ready to have a baby soon, and after her little one arrives, I will be featuring her on my blog!
So there you have it…the new look!
Please leave me a comment on what you think of the new look! I am SO excited to begin this 2011 wedding season with a look that completely, 100% fits me, my style & my vision of photography!
