Loooove the venue for this wedding! I can’t wait to see the full post from their wedding:)
Although they had been in school together since 2nd grade, they didn’t officially meet until junior high. Holden was terribly envious of the guy Kelly was dating at the time, and his first “real” conversation with her was right she got dumped by the guy she was dating, and the rest is history! Kelly says she has no idea how this is possible at such a young age, but only a couple months after dating Holden, at age 17, she was absolutely confident she would marry him. The words Kelly & Holden used to describe their relationship are simple and geniune…they only let the big things worry them, and they can be 100% themselves around each other. They have strong faith in God, cherish spending time with family, have a love for boating and anything outoors, they make each other laugh, and they can’t wait to become husband and wife next year!!

Wow! Love the pics. Kelly, I still see that smiley little girl in you with those big, big blue eyes. Adding Holden, priceless! I really like the b/w one where you two are laying down – You’re eyes are captivating. I also like the one where you two are in the canoe coming to shore & you’re both smiling. You can see how much you two enjoy each other! Love you both – Aunt Barbie

They’re so great! I have too many favorites to pick from, and of course, they value my opinion the most (okay maybe not!). I love them, they captured the true Holden and Kelly–beautiful and fun
A few of my recent wedding clients have created videos to document their story – how they met, their first thoughts about each other, what attracted them to the other, what they love about each other, and their thoughts about marriage and spending life together. What a great idea! I wish Grant and I would have created a similar video to tell our story! I love that they now have the sweet love of their relationship in bloom preserved forever. This is a great video to be played at the reception, or even to make copies and mail along with the wedding invitation.
Enjoy these sample videos. You’ll definitely want to watch the whole 5 minutes for each video, because they are SO sweet!!
This first one is Clinton & Hilary, whose wedding was in the beginning of June. This video was created by Oceanwide Studios, a phenomenal company based in Des Moines. I could watch their videos all day, they are so great!
This next one is Ken & Natalie, the gorgeous backyard wedding I got to photograph in Minnesota the end of May. Their video was done by Gravel Road Productions. Enjoy! They are SO cute together!
