Meet miss Abigail, who turned one year old last week! I had the joy of meeting her when she was just one day old, and taking photos of her at the hospital through Bella Baby Photography. It was so fun to go to their home yesterday to help celebrate her one year birthday! She is a super active girl, which made getting these in-focus shots a challenge!

She really likes their dog Sam…until, of course, he sits on her…which happened a couple times during the shoot!

She’s not quite sure what she thinks about a double kiss! High-five, Daddy! Happy Birthday, sweet Abigail!

Yesterday afternoon, I had the joy of being able to help celebrate this remarkable woman’s 95th birthday! I just started going through the photos, but I LOVE this picture because it captures the essence of her personality so well. So full of life and joy! More to come!

What a FUN family to photograph! I left the shoot with sore cheeks after smiling so much; they are hilarious together! They are a super good-looking family, and the kids all traveled to their parents’ home to spend Memorial Day weekend together. I grew up in such a small family, that seeing a glimpse of a family reunion like this was so much fun! We took the photos at the family farm; I love how the familiarity of a place enhances the meaning of photos!

Oh, and didn’t they chose a great color scheme for their outfits?! They looked fantastic!

All the good-looking women of the family! This next photo is an “awww, so sweet!!” sort of photo…. And this next one too, but what you don’t see is that when he gave her the flower (ok, it was actually a weed!), she threw it on the ground!
