Introducing a fun new product for this year! I had orignally pictured this product for wedding clients, but I love it for seniors and families as well. This is a 20×20 or 30×30 canvas gallery wrap, designed with 30-40 of your favorite images from your photo session. It’s a great way to showcase your photos!
This first example is from Erika’s senior portrait session (view her session here):
The gallery wraps are 1 1/2 inches thick:
And one of the best parts about gallery wraps is that they come ready to hang. No need to save up for a very expensive frame, just put a nail in the wall and hang your gorgeous piece of artwork!
Here is the gallery wrap Allison and her family ordered (see the images from their session here). I love the blend of colors and how it speaks their family’s personality to well!

I had a fun get-away in Waterloo with my roommate Sam last weekend! She grew up there, so we got to spend the weekend with her family. Have you ever felt like you’ve known someone for years and years, when you’ve only known them for a couple months? That’s how it is with Sam; I feel like we’ve been great friends for years but I just met her in August! Those friendships are the best! It was a blast to hang out with her family and be in the midst of craziness with little kids! Sam’s older sister, Angela, has two kids: Eli who is 2 years old, and Gabriella, who is 6 months old. They are perfectly adorable and so fun to play with, but I have a new admiration for moms! How do they do it?!
On Sunday morning I took their family photos. It was pretty chilly, so we had to do most of them indoors. We scouted out indoor locations in Cedar Falls & Waterloo, which we found to be a nearly impossible thing for photos on a Sunday morning! We ended up choosing the church their family goes to. This church is so modern and classy! This first photo was taken in the women’s lounge…a little awkward for the men in the family, but it worked well! The women who came in were just a bit shocked to see an entire family on the couch in there! =)
Even though it was chilly, we were able to get some shots outside the church in this fabulous field. Aren’t they a great-looking family?!

Eli is the cutest 2-year-old I’ve ever known. He’s silly and smart and fun and adorable…but for some reason he was just not into photos! We had to work fast to catch a couple shots before he started screaming!

I love this one of all the beautiful women in the family!

This next one makes me chuckle because Josh had to run around with Eli and then run to join the group to see if we could get even a smidge of a smile out of Eli! So close!

Can you tell these two LOVE being grandparents??!
And of course we had to get a couple of Sam and I to wrap up the session! Thanks, Angela, for getting this fun shot!

Thanks for taking me home with you for the weekend, Sam! Your family is a treasure and I can’t wait to go back to hang out with them again sometime!
Meet the George’s! I met Allison (the Mom) at Toad Valley Golf Course (she and her husband are the owners of the golf course) when I photographed Brendan & Ashley’s reception there. It was a joy to meet her family, and it was the most energetic session I’ve done yet!! Her kiddos are adorable, and little Sophia sure loves to pose and be the center of attention! They certainly are a good-looking family; enjoy their photos!

Carson sat on Sophia’s lap, and she immediately declared, “I AM NOT SANTA!!!!!” So cute! It was a great moment!

I just had to include some of the goofiness that happened! =)
Hmm…not sure why the border on this one disappeared…??

I LOVE this sweet moment!!
Check out the arms behind Dad….Where did they come from and who do they belong to?!
