What a FUN family to photograph! I left the shoot with sore cheeks after smiling so much; they are hilarious together! They are a super good-looking family, and the kids all traveled to their parents’ home to spend Memorial Day weekend together. I grew up in such a small family, that seeing a glimpse of a family reunion like this was so much fun! We took the photos at the family farm; I love how the familiarity of a place enhances the meaning of photos!

Oh, and didn’t they chose a great color scheme for their outfits?! They looked fantastic!

All the good-looking women of the family! This next photo is an “awww, so sweet!!” sort of photo…. And this next one too, but what you don’t see is that when he gave her the flower (ok, it was actually a weed!), she threw it on the ground!

Last weekend I had the joy of photographing a really cute, happy baby with his wonderful parents in their beautiful home! I have known this lovely couple for years, and it’s so exciting to see them with their little baby! Going to the homes of my clients for photos is what I love most; it creates natural expressions and photos that are 100% unique!

Their nursery room had beautiful lighting, an extra bonus!

Talk about one happy baby! It was so easy to get him to smile!! I think it’s a guarantee that he’ll have a great sense of humor as he grows up!

It was such a fun surprise to get a facebook message from Tiffany, wondering if I would do a maternity session for her! I went to high school with Jesse & TIffany, but hadn’t connected with either of them since high school…and I had no idea she was pregnant! And she sure is pregnant! It was so great to catch up with her and celebrate the coming of her first little baby!  This was my first maternity shoot, and it was SO FUN! I am eager for my next one!

I will always be amazed by a pregnant belly. How does skin stretch like this?! Everything about the creation of a baby is truly miraculous! My favorite! Tiffany, I can’t WAIT to get word of the arrival of your little girl! Enjoy these next couple of weeks before she comes!
