#3…Check!

I’ve been having so much fun trying new recipes lately and using fresh herbs! It amazes me that a little pinch of grass-looking stuff can be so flavorful in a meal! Always makes me wonder…who first discovered that? “That’s a nice looking weed, I wonder what it tastes like?!” Crazy! For a while now, I’ve wanted to grow my own herbs to have a fresh supply of them because I usually only use a tiny bit out of the package I buy before it goes bad. So, item #3 on my 101 list: Learn how to grow my own veggies and herbs…check! Well, the herbs part! Since I live in a condo, I don’t have a yard to plant them in, so I used four little pots. Most of them are supposed to sprout in 14-20 days,  and I can’t wait! I’ll update you on their progress! =)

I think it’s hilarious that the brand of seeds is called “Burpee”!

Isn’t it incredible that such teeny tiny seeds can sprout into tall plants, and even the tallest of trees? That’s miraculous!

Herbs were the first thing I tried to grow too! I think you’ll find they’re very resilient, even in the hands of rather neglectful growers like me. Best of luck!
