don’t forget – (1) post from mine! ha
One of the greatest joys about being a photographer is to celebrate the love and adoration between two people! Brandon & Vanessa were so fun to work with because their love for each other is uncontainable! It makes my job so easy when they are naturally cute together, without having to pose them! It was a “play it by ear” kind of shoot, because the spots I had in mind didn’t work out…one of my favorite alleys downtown no longer exists because one of the buildings is gone! It’s a great reminder that light is the most important thing for portraits…much more crucial than what is in the background. Enjoy the photos!

The way Brandon looks at Vanessa is the sweetest thing ever:

CUTE.CUTE.CUTE.
Funny comment, but I love her shoes! Just what I would have worn when I was lots younger! Great pictures.

Meet Tyler and Kristi! After attending a friend’s wedding at Greenwood Park, I knew it would be a beautiful spot for portraits. It is my favorite park in Des Moines, and it has hidden beauty that you’d only discover if you take a stroll along the trails. We first began the session with their super cute little dog, Wrigley. As you can see, Tyler and Kristi are big Cubs fans! Tyler has been to a game at Wrigley field each year for the past 7 years!

My favorite one from their shoot; isn’t this pathway gorgeous?! Who cares that it’s mainly poison ivy! =)

They are so sweet together:
