Monthly Archives: June 2009

Goodbye!

I will be missing in action for this next month…but for security reasons, I am unable to tell you where I am headed! =) So, please know that I have not grown bored with blogging, and it’s not that nothing exciting is going on in life or the photography world…but I will be unable to update posts for the next month. Come back in a few weeks – and you’ll get to hear all about this exciting trip!

Edgy, Fresh, Fun Senior Portrait Sessions

senior-postcard_blog1

It’s senior portrait time for you who are graduating high school soon! Most of you want photographs that will capture this exciting time in your life. You probably want to have photographs that will set you apart from your peers, and more importantly, capture you at your best.  If this describes you – then you know that choosing the right photographer is the difference between images that you put away and glance at once in a blue moon and images that simply beg to be shown off.

I like to combine talent and creativity with packages that range from affordable to luxurious. I’m available to shoot on location which creates a more diverse session and allows you to show your unique expression.  Maybe we’ll find a lake, an alley, a field, the town dump – any location you can dream up that would make for some sweet shots!  We will work to create a personalized package for you that will both fit your budget and fulfill your needs!  Call now to book your session before our special package prices expire!

#44…Check!

Stephanie Bloom (a photographer in the Twin Cities) introduced me to the Shootsac Bag when I second shot at a wedding with her for Ginger Murray. After I saw her in action with this sweet bag, I knew I would buy one someday…and that someday has come! I used my new shootsac bag during Jacobo & Stepha’s wedding, and it worked great! I love it! It’s a hefty price, but it’s so worth it!

I also made another investment the other day  in a Thinktank carry-on photo bag. As you can see in the photo on the right, I was lugging around waaaayyy too many bags to weddings.  Not to mention my tripod & lightstand! I’ll be traveling to a couple weddings this fall, so this bag is perfect to fit as carry-on luggage. Every piece of my equipment now fits in one bag! Amazing! It has some pretty sweet features – I always worry about someone walking off with my equipment…problem solved with this bag! It has the capability of locking the zipper so it cannot be opened, and it comes with a cord and lock so I can lock it up somewhere, and not only can no one take it, but no one can even open it! Genius! The only bad thing is that my lovely shootsac bag doesn’t fit. That will have to go in my checked luggage!

YAY!! You got one! Congratulations. We all need to shoot another wedding together so we can all show off our lovely shootsacs! I still love mine, and I’m so thankful they now have the shoulder strap for some comfort around the neck!

Your work is fantastic. Just keeps getting better and better! I love the new blog design too. I hope Iowa is treating you well! Gotta love the photog life… ;)

I just got a Think Tank bag too Allison!! Aren’t they amazing?! A serious investment, but one that you know is vital to protect your gear, huh?

Glad you like your Shootsac too!
